Figma Saber Alter Review

its really been awhile since i post that review :p. well, here i'm gonna do another review of Figma Saber Alter. now, lets just get started...

Character's background:

"Saber is corrupted by Dark Sakura, realizing that the hatred now corrupting her is the true form of the Holy Grail she was seeking. She decides to take up All the World's Evil, entrusting her blade to it. Sakura asks her how it feels to be reborn as her Servant, and Saber says that it feels like she has awoken from a very long dream, finally prepared to face the reality she had long ignored. Sakura is surprised that someone of Saber's stature conforms to her so well. Saber believes that as a king who believed in the ideals of her people and then sacrificed herself for those ideas is in the best position to truly understand despair. She decides to make her sword Sakura's own in order to sow the hopelessness she desires." - Type Moon wikia

so basically she is a evil saber sort of

~OVERVIEW~
Figure Detail :
Manufacturer : Max Factory
Line : Figma
Type : -
Name : Saber Alter

as expected from figma, the detail is quite crisp and the paintjob is really good. there are few problem with paintjob which i'll explain later.

~ARTICULATION~

The skirt armor are seperated into 3 pieces so they can get out of the way.

The ankle are using figma joint so it can move up and down also rotate a little.

So overall the articulation is nothing spectacular, but its mostly because of her design.
~Accessories~

First of course figma stand and plastic bag

5 sets of hand, 2 close fist(that normally on the fiigure), 2 sword holding hand, another 2 sword holding hand but this one is for holding it straight to the front, 2 hand for holding the avalon/excalibur sheath (which useless in this version since it doesn't come with them, and pointing & open hand both for left hand. and of course dark excalibur.

2 face plate (normal and yelling expression), 2 optional front hair (normal and blowed by air hair with mask glued on it, so you can't take it off). this is where i'm gonna talk about paint problem i mention earlier, mine has some scratch in the hair that has the mask.

Normal face

Yelling Expression

Normal face with mask

Yelling expression with mask

So you don't get a lot of acessories but its what she have so noo complain there.

~ACTION!~

(i switched camera to my cousin's camera because mine's battery dead so yeah its looks totally different)

~COMPARISON~

Comparison with High Grade 00 Seven Sword

Conclusion:
Pros :
+ Good detail
+ Great paintwork

Cons :
- Mediocre articulation (design aspect)
- Minimum acessories
- Minor QC issue (might just be mine)

Overall Figma Saber Alter is not a bad figure, and of course if you're fan of Fate Series or just a Saber collector you ned to get this. Although this is an old release and i know the price is kinda high now so you might consider yourself before getting it.

Thanks For Reading :)
