KO Maketoys Battle Tanker Review

(this is actually picture i got from the internet, i forgot to take a picture of the damn thing but they were the same anyway so it doesn't matter. And if it necessary i'll update it with the actual picture)

Now, i'm not particulary want this as of yet. but i find it at a very cheap price, so ok i pick it up and its turn out not a bad purchase. Please take a note that i don't have the original Battle Tanker so i can't show you the differences with the original. And i'm using the United Laser Optimus Prime that i just review a couple weeks ago, so lets jump to the review...

~OVERVIEW~
Figure Detail :
Manufacturer : KO (Originally Maketoys)
Line : Battle Tanker Series
Type : Add-on/3rd Party
Name : Battle Tanker

Alt Mode

Battery pack and sword handle stored on the back. I'll talk about it later.

(attached to optimus)

This mode is basically what it is, a trailer. It goes well with United Laser Optimus Prime ( i find a slight color mismatch with the Hasbro RTS version, but then again i don't have it so i can't really show it).

~DISSASEMBLY~

Parts on the front became missile pod

This part is rather loose for some reason

Open up the trailer you get the rest of the piece inside

You also get extra head and a extra waist piece you can put on by unscrewing the screw on the back and replace it with the new one. The head in other hand is quite difficult to put on because there is no screw on the back so you have to put it on the hot water and then pop it on the ball joint of the figure. At this point i haven't actually replace the head so i'll just show it with the original head.

(screw that i was talking about)

Someting that i want to talk about is the armor on the arm. you see it utilize a clip for connecting it to the arm, my sugestion is don't take it on and off very often because the more you do it it'll leave a stretch mark and eventually broken so be careful.

~ASSEMBLED~

(replaced waist piece)

(with extra crotch and frontskirt armor)

missile pod that we pull out earlier can be attached on the side of the feet

Battery pack i mention earlier. now, there is some LED on the handle that suppose to light up when you hit the switch, but unfortunately mine doesn't. i take it apart and find that some of the cable doesn't connected properly so i might repair it later on and do some update but for now i'll just leave it that way.

the battery pack can also mount on Prime's back

So you can store a sword on his back...

Talk about sword you get 2 different blades, one is a normal small silver sword

The other one is big and being made in translucent red plastic, that also suppose to light up along with the handle but you know...

He can also hold the dual gun it comes with

You also get extra blade that similar to the other one and extra handle. mainly to give it to Drift (or any other TF really)

And lastly you can put everything together to make an awesome armored battle mode!

Interestingly if you use the armor (except the missile pod) the leftover can still formed a complete trailer.

"Target locked on, begin assault"

-Update-

I finally able to install the new head that its comes with, and also notice that the nose is too long so i cut them off.

Conclusion:
Pros:
+ Good quality for KO
+ Fits rather well
+ Cheap

Cons:
- Some of the parts loose
- Crappy LED
- Plastic tolerances issue

If you pass up all of the problem, this is not a bad addition to your Laser Optimus Prime even being a KO especially if you can find it rather cheap. i got it along with the United Laser Prime for about $53 shipped, at that price is very good considering the United Laser Prime was around $30-$40. so yeah i recommend it but if you don't like the fact it was a KO and you not wanting a KO, you might wanna get the original instead. although the original is probably going for more than $100 now, so you might wanna think before getting it.
so thats about it and thanks for reading :)
