KO Henkei Nemesis Prime (Black Convoy) Review
I don't actually want to buy this but there is a reason why i did, which i'll get into later but first off since i already review the original hasbro one (though its different version) why not review it too?
Now, i'm not gonna go over everything just because its the exact same figure as nemesis prime i've reviewed before so i just gonna focus on showing the differences between the two. So looks like its gonna be a quick review...
And time to talk about the figure and it just my assumption but i think this figure is copied the henkei (Japanese transformers line) version of Nemesis Prime as supposed to my other one which is SDCC exclusive. I'm not really sure though but let's just put it that way. Enough with the explanation time for the review....
~PACKAGING~
I don't usually talk about the packaging here but i really need to talk about it here. This figure doesn't come with any box whatsoever, but its instead comes in a plastic bag. This is where thing get interesting, if you look closer...
It actually says Copyright 2012 Hasbro, BOTCON 2012 in it. But as far as know, this is not a Hasbro's and this is not a BOTCON Toys. So yeah...
~OVERVIEW~
Figure Detail :
Manufacturer : KO
Line : Transformers Henkei
Type : Voyager
Name : Nemesis Prime
Alt Mode
The alt mode doesn't hold quite as sturdy as the hasbro one and sometime not all wheels are touching the ground so kinda annoying.
The roof of the truck can still comes off but as you can see it also doensn't hold up very well.
Interestingly there is a word "NOT FOR SALE" printed in the top of the truck (torso in robot mode).
So here is a quick comparison with the Hasbro SDCC Nemesis Prime (right). more comparison are in robot mode.
Robot Mode/Comparison
Detail on the KO seems to be not as good as the Hasbro one, especially on the head, which kinda expected since this is a KO. And from the comparison above you can clearly see a huge differences in paint scheme/color and i personally like the color of the KO lot more since its resemble the color of the actual Nemesis Prime.
Another notable differences is the faction logo of the two. You see in Hasbro one, it has a Decepticon logo on the left side while the KO has purple Autobot logo (which i think is the logo you'd find on Shattered Glass Figure) on both left and right shoulder. And the detail is different too, in the Hasbro version its very sharp while on the KO it may look okay from far away but up close the paint is kinda messed up.
~ACCESSORIES~
The accessories on both is obviously simillar but once again, the KO one isn't quite secure. And once again differences in color.
~ACTION!~
So thats about it. I won't added a conclusion because i don't thing it was necessary and i don't think i recommend it unless you don't mind owning a KO like i do and you like the color on this thing, because like i said i actually didn't want to buy this figure but i have to because of some reason which probably answered in my next review so stay tune for that...
