KO Fansproject Shadow Commander Review
This is what i'm talking about in the previous review and also this is the reason i bought the KO Nemesis Prime, because i only want this but they sell it as set so i have o choice to buy both but i guess its not a bad choice either....
~OVERVIEW~
Figure Detail :
Manufacturer : KO (Originally Fansproject)
Line : TF-PARALLAX
Type : Add-On/Trailer
Name : Shadow Commander
Packaging boxes (mine kinda crap out unfortunately)
Inside the box you also get comic/instruction manual which sadly one page was assembled wrong, sticker sheet for detailing and little black piece which i'm not sure for what.
Alt Mode
It's a trailer obviously. The plastic quality isn't as good as the Battle Tanker i review earlier but its okay.
Attached
It was supposed to be fit in with both Nemesis Prime i review but as you can see the color on SDCC one matched up a lot better. So for this review i'm gonna use the SDCC one.
~ASSEMBLE~
Before add the armor put him in basically a robot mode without head out. And start to remove pieces...
This part is really loose for some reason
We won't be using this two for armor mode. We gonna use this for something else later one.
~ARMORED UP~
This thing is HUGE...
The shoulder and arm armor can be loose at some time.
This i want to talk about. In the original, he has a mouth plate simillar to the base figure nemesis prime but here he doesn't (and the face is green and not silver for some reason). This is the only differences that i could find.
~ACCESSORIES~
Remember this piece?
You fold it up, and add the part that peviously held the sword...
Boom, you got a gun!
And you also have the sword.
He can hold base Nemesis Prime weapon.
The big gun can be held like this...
.... or fully extended.
And of course you can hold the sword as well.
You can store the weapon on the back of him (you can also store the big gun in there but i forgot to show it).
The sword can also be held by the base Nemesis Prime figure (i'm using the other one but its the same anyway). But actually the color of the sword matches up with him better than with the Shadow Commander as he has the red on him.
With the armor on the articulation is very hindred so i won't bother doing a pose with him because he only meant for standing there looking awesome.
Pros :
+ Cheap
+ Fits perfectly into the figure
+ Good paint apps
Cons:
- Loose part
- Lack of mouth plate
I guess if you want an armor for your Nemesis Prime figure (with classics optimus prime mold) its not a bad choice. There are couple of problem but its not too bad. I got it for $65 for it along with the KO nemesis prime, which i think its just about right price considering they both go for $45 on ebay, you know you get what you pay.
Thanks for reading :)
